France By Moonlight
The Setting:: La Révolution François...... Or better known as the French revolution, it was a time of suspicion, lies, and death. Within the high walls of Paris, a war is brewing. On one side you have the lower classes, scorned, mistreated, and abused, and on the other, the Aristocracy, powerful, wealthy, and dangerous, only battles are not won with weapons alone, and the determination of Frances' peasants is stronger then the Nobles swords. But will it be enough to win freedom, or will this gruesome war never end. The elegant majesty of Paris is disrupted by the cries of those killed at the Guitine, and tainted with the horrible reality of death. Many perished at Lady Guitine on mere accusations of aristocratic endeavors. Where will you fit in amongst the complex society of France? Simmering low beneath the surface is yet another war, one fought by mortal, and immortal. There are many secrets hidden inside, classes and species are brought together in mysterious ways, and people so different on the outside, find comfort in each other. But perhaps the most gaurded of these is that which many are still ignorant, the uprising of vampire and lycan a battle far older then that of wealthy and poor. During a time of fierce loyalties, and even fiercer tempers, will you survive, will you perish with the lowering of the axe, or will you taste immortality? Only fate can decide, for now your life hangs in the balance, caught between freedom, and loyalty. You decide, but when destiny calls, will you answer?
The Plot:: The French Revolution is in full swing. Aristocrats are on edge, King Louie and Queen Marie Antoinette are on constant alert, their country falling apart around them. As the poor begin over-throwing the heavy tyrany that has kept them oppressed for so many years, another war grows with intensity. Vampires and Lycans are hard on eachothers tails. Four covens, Bertil and Clyshy the vampire covens, and Bellinus and Andolin the Lycan covens, all at war, are forming unsteady bonds. Now the humans have gotten wind of the vampire and lycan existance and have vowed to destroy them, the only link between low and middle classes is the determination to wipe both species out. With each line drawn, and sides taken, there are few alliances as France is slowly falling apart, torn by war, class against class and species against species. But a small glimmer of hope shines through. The ray is love and friendship, compassion and loyalty. Many enemies are drawn together forging bonds that will defy what has been set down in stone for years, and can withstand the growing weight of war and fear.
